The Franklin St. church is an assembly of Christians who are seeking to worship and serve God in the way that He has directed. In order to do this, we use the Bible as our only guide. Our goal is to get to heaven and to share the Gospel with as many folks as possible, doing godly things, God’s way.

The Bible is Our Only Guide
One of our most fundamental principles is the belief that the Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). God’s Word is the truth (John 17:17), and it is our responsibility as His people “to speak as the oracles of God” (1 Peter 4:11). When you visit our assemblies, you will notice a simple, reverent worship service, as we practice only those religious activities we find in the New Testament scriptures.
Folks are fallible, so we have no man-made creeds, doctrines or headquarters. Our Leader and Lord is Christ and we love Him. We teach folks to simply follow and do the commands of our Lord Jesus Christ. We recognize Him to have “all Authority” [Mat 28:18] in all matters for our lives.
Our desire is to assist everyone we meet to become a follower of Jesus Christ, and to show them, with the scriptures, how to become a true disciple of His. [Mat 28:18-20] We are striving to become more like Him, and we are truly excited when others visit our assembly with the same desire.
We worship God, our Father, Jesus Christ His Son, and the Holy Spirit. We desire to worship like the Christians did in the first century that we read about in the New Testament. Our worship assemblies may appear simple, singing, praying, giving and preaching. Each Sunday we proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes, [1Cor 11:26] by observing the Lord’s supper, remembering His death, burial, and resurrection as He instructed us to share with Him.
We invite you to visit our worship service or click here to learn more about what we do. We enjoy meeting folks who are seeking to serve God, and would very much like to meet you.
We offer opportunity to study the Bible, looking into God’s word for His wonderful truths.
